Job SummaryMSAD 15 is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee transportation operations district-wide.
The supervisor will manage a staff of over 25 employees—including bus drivers, van drivers, aides, mechanics, and a dispatcher—and will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for students and families.
Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and supervise transportation staff.
- Optimize safety protocols for students and staff.
- Provide timely and supportive communication with families.
- Oversee maintenance and operation of a fleet of 18 buses and 9 vans.
- At least five (5) years of experience in school transportation.
- Current Maine Department of Education CHRC.
- Current Maine Bus Driver Endorsement (Maine CDL, Class B, or A/S).
- Valid State of Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check.
- Demonstrated leadership and dynamic team‐building skills.
