Are you a Thermal Hydraulic or Thermofluids Engineer looking for a hands-on, technically exciting role in a fast-moving start-up where your work will make a real-world impact?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team that empowers its staff, where you will own the end-to-end development and analysis of critical systems and help push the boundaries of what’s possible in next-generation nuclear power.
The company is a rapidly scaling, well-funded U.S. start-up revolutionizing the nuclear power industry. They have an ambitious yet supportive culture, focused on building cutting-edge technology and redefining how nuclear energy can be designed, developed, and deployed at scale.
This position is ideal for a hands-on, practical Engineer from a thermo-fluids background, who enjoys solving real engineering problems and seeing their work move from analysis into build and deployment.
The Role:
- Lead the design, modeling, and validation of thermal-fluid systems
- Perform hand calculations and conceptual analysis
- Support prototype builds, testing, and rapid design iterations
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
The Person:
- Experience in thermofluids for industrial systems
- Able to do on-the-fly hand calculations
- Familiar with CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or similar)
- Hands-on, practical mindset – builder over purely academic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
