Senior Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer for a long‑term contract in Austin, TX.

This role requires on-site presence 4–5 days per week. Candidates must reside in the Austin area and be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.
• Testing and evaluating new programs.
• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business, and systems analysts.
• Utilize technology such as AI to expedite the software development process.
• 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based enterprise applications.
• Build and optimize front‑end components using Angular and AG Grid for dynamic, data‑driven interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Integrate AI tools and techniques into application workflows for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent features.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

• 8 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular application development.
• Proficiency in Angular and AG Grid for building rich UI components.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work in collaborative environments.
• Adaptability to emerging technologies and AI‑driven development practices.

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch) or AI‑powered development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT‑based coding assistants).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
