Warehouse Operative / Stores Person

Axminster, Devon (Site Based) – Contract Role Immediate Start Monday‑Friday

Immediate requirement for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy engineering and logistics depot in Axminster. This is a hands‑on warehouse role supporting goods in/out, shipping, stock control and general depot operations within a fast‑paced engineering environment.

• Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading/unloading trucks and lorries using pump trucks and warehouse equipment
• Shipping and booking goods out through internal systems
• Goods in duties, including booking stock in and putting parts away
• Inventory counts, stock control, and ERP / MRP system updates
• General warehouse housekeeping and depot support

• Previous warehouse/stores experience
• Experience with in logistics, goods in/out or engineering stores
• ERP / MRP system experience is beneficial
• Forklift licence beneficial but not essential (full in‑house training available)
• Strong organisational skills and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Available to start ASAP

The salary/rate advertised is dependent on experience.
