Job Title: Maintenance Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our team at our Aston Clinton site. This key leadership role is responsible for site maintenance, machinery reliability, safety, and the successful delivery of CAPEX and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities- Carry out and oversee routine, planned, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, calibrations, and spare parts usage.
- Manage, coach, and develop the site maintenance team.
- Ensure maintenance procedures and safety standards are consistently followed.
- Deliver training on maintenance processes, safety systems, and equipment use.
- Develop and manage the site CAPEX plan, ensuring best value, delivery, and fit for Kingspan.
- Lead machinery installation, commissioning, and refurbishment projects.
- Manage external contractors and specialist trades.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections (e.g., LOTO, guarding, permits‑to‑work).
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure equipment meets regulatory and internal quality requirements.
- Manage critical spare parts and inventory levels.
- Support preparation and control of the annual maintenance budget.
- Monitor costs related to parts, contractors, and utilities.
- Maintain and optimise energy systems such as compressed air and solar.
- Support green initiatives by reducing energy use, waste, and environmental impact.
- Essential:
Electrical qualification, minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment. - Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation, and energy‑efficient technologies.
- Experience using root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communicator who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in science or engineering.
- Experience with safety systems (LOTO, permits‑to‑work, etc.).
- Experience with predictive maintenance and energy efficiency initiatives.
