Role OverviewAs a Supply Chain Quality Manager – High‑Volume Parts (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving quality excellence and improvement across our global value chain for high‑volume turbocharger parts. You will actively shape and implement quality assurance processes, strengthening supply‑chain quality and resilience and creating long‑term value. Responsibilities- Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a robust supply‑chain quality strategy, framework and processes for a high‑volume manufacturing environment (PPAP).
- Quality Assurance: Define and maintain quality standards, procedures and documentation (e.g., control plans, work instructions). Establish and manage quality gates and processes with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Lead process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure production readiness. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (suppliers, quality inspection, logistics and production) to ensure quality requirements are met. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks early in the supply process, collaborating closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance part quality.
Serve as the quality representative for high‑volume parts, ensuring early integration of quality standards and effective use of lessons learned. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. - Quality Performance: Establish statistical process control methods and monitor key quality metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies. Manage non‑conformance processes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
- Several years of experience in quality engineering within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process validation and industrialization.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proactive, self‑driven and accountable – identify opportunities, take ownership and deliver measurable improvements.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to 10%.
