Senior Commercial Service Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Commercial Service Engineer, based in Ballynahinch. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing solar PV systems for commercial clients. Responsibilities include providing technical support, routine maintenance, and system optimisation to ensure high operational efficiency. The successful candidate will conduct field visits to client sites and maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

• Pre site surveys - completing site check lists and mark up of photos to allow for completion of RAMS and install pack
• Site visits - Ensure Health + Safety compliance, and Quality Compliance
• Assist with logistics and help with installation while on site
• Technical admin - Assist with grid applications and queries
• Operations and maintenance
• Shutdowns
• Installation of metering and protection controls
• Commissioning of systems and components
• Fault diagnosis on systems
• Commercial electrical experience
• Experience in metering and control systems
• IT literate - Need to be able to use the likes of Gridviz and apps for commissioning
• Driving Licence
• Flexibility to stay away overnight in UK and IE
• Ability to communicate with clients, installers and office
• The Successful Candidate must be flexible to stay away overnight in the UK and IE at certain times.
• The Successful Candidate must have the ability to be on-call twice a month

• 2391 inspection and testing
• Previous PV or Renewables experience
• PV MCS course
• EESS Course
• Pervious team lead experience
• Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
