Balancing front‑desk reception, daily mail distribution, and project‑based billing, this role serves as the vital link between engineering teams, clients, and back‑office operations.
Responsibilities:- Civil/Electrical Project Coordination: assist Project Managers with project tracking, maintain work schedules, and prepare engineering paperwork such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Engineering Billing & Collections: prepare and issue accurate client invoices, resolve billing holds with PMs, and handle professional collection calls for outstanding balances.
- Official Notary Services: act as the office’s Notary Public to authenticate signatures on vital documents.
- Front Office Management: answer multi‑line phones with professional etiquette, screen inquiries for engineers and surveyors; manage daily intake and distribution of mail and packages; order office supplies and coordinate supplies and office outings.
- Notary Public Commission or eligibility and willingness to obtain one immediately.

Experience:
at least 5 years in an administrative role, preferably within an engineering or professional services environment. - Project Based
Skills:
proven experience with project‑based knowledge, accounts receivable, or collections. - Software Proficiency: skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with industry software like Deltek Ajera is a major plus.
- Detail‑Oriented: exceptional ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously without losing track of administrative essentials.
Lead our team located in Annapolis, Maryland, bringing over a decade of land‑development design experience.
Responsibilities:- Business Development for our Land Development division.
- Perform all facets of civil site design, including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway and utility infrastructure, sediment and erosion control.
- Create CAD drawings, layouts, and production plans per local codes and standards, and provide quality control.
- Prepare detailed stormwater management reports with computations for ESDv, drainage area delineation, runoff, storm drain flows, HGLs, suitability reports, cost estimates, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agency reviewers throughout project duration.
- Handle permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies.
- Communicate with project team on workflow status and priorities to meet project goals.
- Prepare proposals for potential work and train other team members.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in Hydro
CAD, TR‑55, and Maryland Stormwater Management design and computation preferred. - Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Assist in maintenance and care of Survey Equipment and Crew Vehicle.
- Skill in or willingness to learn operation of Trimble GPS, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, and Data Collectors.
