Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced RTR Costing Accounting COE Lead to join our Record to Report team in ADM Global Capability Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible and accountable for establishing and embedding a Costing Accounting global Centre of Excellence (CoE) in ADM. Including driving process standardization, governance, compliance and continuous improvement. The ultimate goal of the CoE is to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of Costing Accounting.

This role also involves supervising, guiding the large team who is able to meet the deliverables, as well as training and socializing them at various levels of the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

- Costing Operations:
Establish, lead and embed the use of Cost Accounting COE, defining its scope, governance and operating model. Partner with executive leadership to define the strategic vision and roadmap for Costing accounting excellence. Oversee global cost accounting and standard accounting processes performed by COE team correctly, with proper support and per policy and/or established process.
- Process Controls:
Support to develop, maintain, review, and control process documentation to ensure it is up-to-date and compliant with company standard including GAAP & SOX. Drive a strong internal control and risk management environment in compliance with company policies.
- KPIs:
Define, develop Costing COEs KPIs are met consistently and focus on improvement opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Provide training, coaching and capability building to finance teams and Costing partners. Act as a liaison between finance, Costing, internal audit and external auditors. Demonstrate the value of the Costing CoE, ultimately driving its use with Finance and business stakeholders with a proactive approach in problem solving and working with cross functional team members in finance/operations and navigate the team appropriately.
- Process Improvement:
Partner with Controllership and other key stakeholders to drive efficiency and process optimization. Identify and support to implement process automation and digital solutions (e.g., ERP enhancements, analytics tools) to improve effectiveness and accuracy. Lead initiatives to optimize working capital, cost transparency and financial performance across the Costing. Partner with operations to align accounting processes with manufacturing, logistics and procurement activities.
- Team Building:
Ensure right level of engagement with the team to build a high performing team by providing direction, coaching and performance management. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Qualified cost accountant (CA/ CMA) is preferred with at least 12 plus years of experience in RTR domain and Agricultural industry experience would be a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of operational experience in Cost accounting function.
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience with a transformative style of leadership experience in leading and developing large teams
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, SOX and internal controls frameworks.
- Ability to adapt to rapid and emerging changes in the business and technological environment.
- Skill in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization to implement changes.
- Focus on achieving set goals and objectives, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, collaborative and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
- Proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives and performance in complex organizations.
