About the Role:

This is not a traditional research role.

We're looking for someone who can go beyond gathering information, someone who can  connect dots, form sharp opinions, and turn research into compelling narratives  for long-form conversations.

What We're Looking For:

3–5 years of experience  in research (media, publications, or content platforms)
Background in  Economics, Social Sciences, or Content Research
Strong understanding of how ideas move across  markets, policy, and culture
You are someone who:
Reads widely and proactively — you're already aware of what's happening and why it matters
Can take scattered inputs and build a  clear, nuanced point of view
Finds  non-obvious angles  and asks 'why does this matter right now'
Uses  AI tools effectively  to enhance research and output
Is comfortable working with  ambiguity, speed, and evolving briefs
Bonus:  You've published content (blog, newsletter, threads, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Episode Research
Build deep research packs on themes and guests
Identify  4–6 strong, data-backed angles  that can drive the conversation
Bring out the  'so what'  — why this topic matters right now
2. Narrative & Read-Out
Convert research into a  clear, structured narrative  for the host
Present insights with conviction — defend your thinking and push back when needed
3. Post-Production Support
Review content to identify missed insights or weak arguments
Validate all facts, sources, and claims before publishing
