Location: Bangor

Working with the Lead and Senior Electrical Design Engineers helping support the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems and control solutions. Working as part of a team to help translate requirements into effective designs, producing technical documentation, and supporting system integration, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to creation of design specifications
  • Interpret design requirements and
  • Produce technical documentation (schematics, schedules, calculations) reflecting content of design specification.
  • Provide technical/functional input at all stages from concept through to in-service support.
  • Create and manage Bill of Materials for electrical hardware.
  • Be on company site for integration and commissioning of electrical power and control systems.
  • Ensure engineering outputs meets quality and regulatory standards (EN60204 ; ISO
    12100 ; EMC ; EN13849 ; NFPA
    79; UL508A)
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement activities
  • Support field installations, maintenance, upgrades, modifications for new and in-service systems in the UK but also globally.
Essential Qualifications
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field of work.
  • BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng in Electrical Engineering or other relevant field of study.
  • Experience with the specification of electrical control panels.
  • Experience in using an electrical CAD software.
  • Experience in using AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan (preferred).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with supply chain and quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience to support fault finding and building activities when required.
