Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and support manufacturing process plans in accordance with contract technical requirements.
• Implement the manufacturing process and improve processes throughout the complete fabrication cycle.
• Ensure all design and quality requirements are satisfied.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering during component design to ensure manufacturability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Interface directly with customer representatives and prepare data or presentations as needed.
• Identify facility and tooling requirements, manufacturing methods, and develop new manufacturing methods.
• Identify material requirements and support procurement.
• Monitor performance and control costs of manufacture.
• Prepare technical procedures and documents.
• Resolve any problems encountered during manufacture.
• Work with vendors as necessary.
• Provide status and schedule support of products throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Prepare Program Plans as required, incorporating necessary schedule and support information.

• Strong communication skills and an interest in working with multiple disciplines to support product design and manufacture.
• Proficiency with MRP and Microsoft Office programs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOE‑issued Security Clearance.

Pay: $64,000 – $101,000 per year in Ohio (US‑OH).
