Registered Early Childhood Educator at Little Eagle

Join Wasauksing First Nation's Little Eagle Child Care Centre as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. Foster a nurturing, stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 12 years in a licensed setting.

In this RECE role, you will plan, implement, and evaluate early learning experiences aligned with the Centre's goals. Collaborate with a dedicated team to guide children through indoor, outdoor, and group activities, while assessing developmental progress. Your innovative teaching techniques will help build confidence and independence in young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute children’s learning experiences

• Supervise and engage in active and quiet activities

• Assess developmental levels and collaborate with agencies

• Document children’s activities through various mediums

• Maintain and sanitize classroom equipment and materials

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Educator Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in licensed child care settings preferred

• First Aid & CPR Certificate required

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Vulnerable sector check necessary for role
