In this part-time role, you will manage classroom environments, prepare teaching plans, and ensure student safety. Reporting to Principal David Brooks, you will work collaboratively with staff and parents, aligning progress with academic requirements. You'll also administer tests and maintain communication with the community to support student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective instruction and evaluate student progress
• Prepare teaching plans and outlines on request
• Maintain safety procedures in all activities
• Collaborate with teachers for consistent discipline
• Participate in meetings with parents and guardians
Requirements:
• Relevant teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience in life skills education preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
• Commitment to student safety and well-being
