Health Education Teacher – Simcoe County District School Board

Join Simcoe County District School Board as an Interim Health and Physical Education Teacher to inspire students in physical wellness. This position is designed for a Semester 2 teaching term.

The focus is on executing a health and physical education curriculum for one period, ensuring inclusivity and engagement. Teachers will assess student progress, prepare instructional materials, and work collaboratively with peers to create a supportive learning environment. Upholding the SCDSB commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is essential.

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Health and Physical Education

• Proven experience in classroom instruction

• Aptitude for managing diverse learning needs

• Effective communicator and organizer

• Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check prior to starting
