Part-Time Youth Care Specialist Position

Home Care Assistance is looking for dedicated individuals for three part-time vacancies working with youth facing behavioral challenges. Ideally, you have over three years of related experience or hold relevant certifications. In this role, you will assist with personal care, manage medications, and provide emotional support, all while driving clients to community segments where they can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities and personal care tasks

• Assist with medication management and communication with family

• Monitor changes in the care plan with accurate documentation

• Provide emotional and social support while avoiding triggers

• Drive clients to local events using your vehicle

Requirements:

• Three years of related experience is critical

• Valid CPR/First Aid certification required

• Reliable vehicle access and a valid driver's license necessary

• Police Vulnerable Sector Check needed within the last 6 months

• CPI BLUE CARD or Safe Management is preferred but not essential
