As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What you’ll do- Be a Team Member
:
Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests; educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentoring new technicians; communicating and developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service. - Be an Expert
:
Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; demonstrating knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone, and in‑person selling techniques. - Be a Techie
:
Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement; using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions. - Be an Owner
:
Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead; tracks and monitors returns and special orders; operates cash registers; processes transactions; maintains accurate inventory, audit, safety and compliance standards; reports complaints and hazards; completes paperwork and documentation; supports members with purchasing decisions. - Be a Talent Ambassador

Brand advocate valuing the member’s experience in the TBC area and modeling high‑quality service and products; developing, influencing and inspiring others for a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style; assists in training team members. - Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; implements action plans; utilizes the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments using policies, data and resources; collaborates with managers and co‑workers; identifies priorities; tracks progress; recommends improvements; adapts to change.

Minimum Qualifications- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- Age 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within the specified time period.
- Auto service industry experience.
- Retail experience.
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
