Estimator - Fire Protection & Fire Doors

The Resourcing Team is the recruitment partner to an established and trusted specialist within the fire safety industry, delivering fully accredited fire stopping and fire door solutions across the UK.

We're looking for a Passive Fire Estimator to join an experienced team, supporting the pricing and delivery of passive fire protection and fire door projects nationwide. You'll work closely with the operations and commercial teams, ensuring every proposal reflects our high standards.

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Quantify materials and labour for fire stopping and fire door works.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project details.
• Prepare and submit tenders, including value engineering options.
• Maintain pricing databases and ensure all proposals meet FIRAS, ASFP, and internal compliance standards.
• Support project handovers to ensure seamless delivery.

• Experience in estimating within fire protection, fire doors
  , or a related construction discipline
  .
• Confidence in interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and estimating software. Experience with Simpro would be an advantage.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset someone who enjoys solving problems and improving processes.
• FIRAS / ASFP knowledge or accreditation is an advantage, but not essential.
