SMT TECHNICIAN, SEMICONDUCTORS (STARLINK)

X has undertaken to date, the Starlink satellite constellation, is our solution to providing reliable internet to the entire world. In true Space

X fashion, Starlink is taking the next step in vertical integration by bringing integrated circuit packaging and assembly in-house for development and manufacturing. You will work closely with IC packaging engineers, equipment manufacturers and leadership.

• Manufacturing operations and processing of microelectronic products
• Operation of semiconductor and packaging equipment in cleanroom environment
• Product handling using best cleanroom practices
• Support production operations and standard operation procedures
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of professional experience in a hands‑on manufacturing environment; or bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline

• 3+ years of hands‑on equipment experience in microelectronics packaging cleanroom
• 3+ years of experience working on surface mount technology (SMT), Component Pick & Place, Automated Optical Inspection, Reflow Ovens & X‑Ray equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline

Pay range:

• SMT Technician/Level 1: $20.00 - $24.50/hour
• SMT Technician/Level 2: $23.00 - $29.00/hour
• SMT Technician/Level 3: $27.00 - $35.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
