Job Overview

Pipe Foreman – Baytown, TX. Lead a crew of pipe fitters, ensure safety, and coordinate work on site.

• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting, tools, procedures, and best practices
• Lead small teams and assign job duties ensuring proper training
• Serve as a safety role model, enforce OPD and client safety policies, and address safety concerns
• Provide records of work completed to the superintendent
• Communicate with OPD Superintendent for material requirements and NDE scheduling

• Actively participate in safety culture, recognize hazards, attend meetings, follow policies
• Be punctual, display positive attitude, work in a team
• Handle physical demands: outdoor weather, lift/carry up to 60 lbs, stand up to 12 hrs, use arms/legs for climbing, bending, etc.

• At least 3 years experience as a pipefitter
• Role model for safety
• Travel required, extended periods away from home
• Ability to lead safety meetings
• Work shifts up to 12 hrs per day, 7 days per week
• Meet all physical demands

• Experience in gas plant construction
• At least 1 year as pipefitter foreman
• At least 5 years as pipefitter
• Leadership in safety
• Lead small teams of 10–25 people
