Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for night shifts at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital. The role requires recent and permanent telemetry experience, along with active licensure and compliance with industry standards for travel nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients during night shifts.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately, responding to changes in patient conditions.
• Complete required assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate, during orientation.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including holiday work and ongoing compliance with licensing and drug screening policies.
• Document patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain all certifications and licenses, ensuring compliance with travel and facility-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio license or compact license valid from 1/1/23 onward.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent and permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nurse experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments.
• Have active BLS and ACLS certifications with no pending renewals.
• Submit a manager or supervisor reference in the specialty applying for.
• Complete required background checks, drug screens, and fingerprinting within the specified timeline.
