Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at the Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital. This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, primarily during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs according to physician orders.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal ECG rhythms and other clinical changes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required and must be current.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments with acceptable scores during orientation.
• Provide two recent management references from within the past 12 months.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical documentation and telemetry monitoring.
