Operations and Logistics Sustainability Expert

Our client is seeking a Sustainability expert for their team in Beaverton, Oregon. As a Sustainability Expert of Operations & Logistics, you'll work together with our Logistics, Marketplace Operations team and Sustainability partners. Your key responsibility will be to leverage the Global Sustainability strategy to develop and deploy a version that can be leveraged across our diverse and high-paced organization that enables us to meet our zero emissions target by 2025. You will also be responsible for driving the integration of sustainability into Operations & Logistics through performance management, creating a shared sense of accountability and creating a well-defined network operating model. A typical day or week would include partnering across stakeholder groups – extended cross-functional business partners and sustainability subject matter experts – to understand needs and requirements to drive action and decisions to support meeting our 2025 sustainability targets, our sustainability strategy, and continually evolving sustainability reporting standards and expectations.


Responsibilities:

Perform and/or must understand multiple supply chain and logistics functions such as planning, product delivery, operations, and so forth to manage/support a business or department(s) within supply chain.

May support, manage, lead, or create supply chain initiatives (or processes) from an end to end perspective.

May be involved in creating new supply chain capabilities.


Qualifications:

Experience in customer service/Supply Chain environment
