Position: Facilities System Technician 4

Position Summary

The Facilities Technician 4 is responsible for the operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of critical facilities systems supporting a 115,000‑square‑foot semiconductor cleanroom.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain facilities systems supporting a 115,000 sq. ft. cleanroom
  • Perform preventive maintenance on:
    Chillers, CDA systems, Boilers, Air handlers, UPS systems, Control systems, Process exhaust scrubbers
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within the utility plant and supporting systems
  • Operate and maintain fire alarm systems, hazardous gas detection systems, and other plant control systems
  • Schedule, execute, and document preventive maintenance activities
  • Perform data entry, analyze system performance data, and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Participate in area and process improvement meetings
  • Support safe, reliable, and compliant fab operations during night shift coverage
Requirements
  • Education or hands‑on experience in mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
  • Knowledge of RODI and AWN systems
  • Understanding of automated systems from air handlers, environmental controls, chillers, processed cooling water, and VFDs
  • Wafer fabrication facility experience preferred
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments strongly preferred
  • Basic control systems knowledge; PLC programming and electronic skills are a plus

Export Licensing Requirement

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce – Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State – Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $35 to $48 per hour. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
