LOCATION:

SALARY RANGE: $ annually*

Astrion has an opportunity for an Asset Manager to support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS- Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be DoD.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
- Candidate will also need strong organizational skills.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting IT asset lifecycle management for multiple programs. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Provide logistics support for all program assets in order to address and meet the lifecycle sustainment requirements of the program office.
- Develop logistics and product support sections for Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
- Track, update and validate all hardware and software assets for entire lifecycle disposition.
- Review all program Asset Management/Product Support sections of Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Contract Data Requirement Listings (CDRLs) and Technical Manuals (TMs) to provide direct logistics support for assets accountability and sustainment plan.
- Research all discrepancies and inconsistencies to ensure all assigned assets are recorded and accounted for.
- Track, update, and validate all hardware and software assets for entire lifecycle disposition.
- Regularly cross check program requirements and assess 3400 sustainment funding.
- Update life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) throughout the year.
- Execute obsolescence management of all deployed assets for the weapon system and plan tech refresh strategies as required.
