Elevate Technology Solutions is seeking an Azure Systems Administrator to support enterprise IT operations and cybersecurity engineering activities within Microsoft Azure cloud environments.

This role supports Cloud One (C1) Azure IL6 environments and requires hands-on experience operating in classified, high-security cloud environments
. The position is responsible for system administration, cybersecurity support, and improving the overall security and compliance posture through infrastructure and configuration as code.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Azure-based systems, performing cybersecurity analysis, and working closely with cloud engineering and security teams in a Dev Sec Ops -driven environment.

• Provide day-to-day IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices in secure environments
• Administer and support Microsoft Azure environments, including virtual machines, networking, and identity services
• Support IL6 cybersecurity operations
  , including maintaining and operating cybersecurity analytical tools
• Perform cybersecurity assessments, analysis, and assist in identifying vulnerabilities and risks across Azure environments
• Implement mitigation strategies and security controls to address identified vulnerabilities
• Support Azure Operations teams in improving the overall security and compliance posture within IL6 environments
• Apply infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code practices to support secure and repeatable deployments
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Azure Active Directory
• Support hybrid environments integrating on-prem infrastructure with Azure cloud services
• Maintain system performance, patching, and updates across endpoints and cloud resources
• Assist with VPN, remote access, and secure connectivity solutions
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and cloud-related issues
• Document system configurations, processes, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, Dev Sec Ops , and cybersecurity teams to support secure mission operations

• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 4+ years of industry experience in systems administration, cloud operations, or IT support
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments (DoD or federal preferred)
• Understanding of cybersecurity assessment and risk analysis concepts
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management practices

• DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required – Security+ or equivalent)
