Job Category Information Technology Position Summary This is a high-impact opportunity to lead a team at the intersection of intelligent automation, AI-driven process transformation, and operational excellence. The Intelligent Automation Manager will architect and execute a holistic automation strategy, spanning RPA, AI/ML, process mining, and agentic workflows for a BBS center serving global stakeholders. The role demands equal parts strategic vision and delivery muscle: building the capability, the culture, and the business case for automation that scales.

This leader owns the full automation lifecycle from opportunity identification and process reengineering through vendor selection, build-or-buy decisions, and post-deployment value realization. They will institutionalize structured intake, portfolio governance, and benefits tracking disciplines that position automation as a strategic differentiator rather than a back-office tool.

The Intelligent Automation Manager will be the organization's lead on the intelligent automation landscape; fluent across RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate), Generative AI integration, LLM-powered agents, process intelligence tools (Process Mining, Document Understanding), and low-code orchestration. They will translate technology capability into business language with credibility at C-suite and operational levels alike.

Responsibilities Lead a multidisciplinary team of automation engineers, process analysts, and AI specialists to design, build, and scale intelligent automation solutions, encompassing RPA, AI agents, and process reengineering, that create measurable business value.

Partner with stakeholders across the business to define use-cases, requirements, and business needs for workflow, business process management and automation.

Lead the business case creation for automation initiatives, work closely with the different organizations to ensure expected benefits are achieved.

End-to-end value realization: define benefit baselines, track realized ROI across the automation portfolio, and report outcomes to VP and executive leadership with disciplined cadence.

Collaborate with CoE, Process Excellence, and Delivery teams to establish a structured automation intake framework; scoring, prioritizing, and sequencing initiatives based on strategic value, complexity, and feasibility.

Lead end-to-end process reengineering efforts prior to automation: apply Lean / Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste, standardize workflows, and ensure processes are automation-ready before technology deployment.

Define and execute the vendor selection strategy for automation tooling: evaluate RPA platforms, AI/ML solutions, and orchestration tools through structured RFP/RFI processes, proof-of-concept sprints, and TCO analysis.

Embed Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities into automation workflows, identifying use cases for document intelligence, conversational AI, and AI-assisted decision-making within GBS processes.

Drive a process mining practice: leverage tools to generate data-driven insights on process performance and surface the highest-value automation targets.

Keep abreast of trends, emerging technologies and evangelize these in support of the organization's strategy. Be a change agent to instill a process improvement mindset using process automation technology.
