Maine Health Waldo Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to work per diem with their Hospitalist group. The successful candidate will assist in the exciting opportunity to join a regional practice serving our Coastal Maine communities. Candidates will work in a very collegial atmosphere working alongside great support staff and seasoned providers. Join us and you will also find supportive, collaborative colleagues;

- Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner training program with training in inpatient medicine.
- State of Maine license as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN-C) required.
- DEA Number required.
- NCCPA or ANCC certification required.
- BLS required within 3 months of hire.
- ACLS preferred within 6 months of hire.
- Training and professional background in inpatient care required. 2+ years of experience preferred.
