** Mill Operative
** to join the successful, supportive team at their
** Belfast, Springfield Rd
** store.
** What you’ll be doing:
**** Duties to include, but not limited to:
*** Operating a variety of woodworking machinery such as; wall-saw, edge bander, glue press, rip-saw and planer
* Modification and finishing of washroom systems e.g. lipping, adjusting, trimming/ cutting down sheet materials
* Adherence to EHS standards by ensuring; work area is kept tidy, work area is cleaned daily, machinery is rigorously maintained

* Working Hours:

**** Monday - Thursday  07.30 - 16.15 and Friday 07.30 - 13.00 and overtime as and when needed.
**** What you’ll need to have:
*** Proven experience in a timber mill
* Proven ability to operate machinery, setting the correct specifications with minimal supervision
* The ability to work on own initiative
* The ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Comfortable working in a busy environment
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
** It would be great if you also have:
*** Prior use of an edge bander, glue press, wall-saw and planers (Desirable)
* Prior experience of washroom, woodworking and production (Desirable)
* Relevant woodwork machinery qualification (Desirable)
These are desirable skills or experience and are not essential, so we would welcome applications from candidates that don’t match this additional criteria.
