Bellaire Family Eye Care is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Optometric Technician to join our clinical team. We are focused on providing outstanding patient experiences in a supportive, energetic workplace.

• Technicians in our practice are key to supporting our six optometrists and their patients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with patients and team members. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to be proactive in finding solutions to challenges are key. Team members in this position need to be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
• Support six optometrists and their patients
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients and team members

• Remain organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional results

• Two years’ minimum experience preferred working in a fast paced optometric or ophthalmology practice as a technician
• Knowledge of optometric technology and equipment
• Experience with Crystal or a similar electronic medical record system
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written), bilingual a plus
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment, functioning for the good of the team over the individual
• Superior patient service skills to exceed the needs of our patients
