Role

Purpose

Manages acute and chronic illnesses, performs assessments, procedures, interprets diagnostic studies, and initiates treatment plans in ambulatory practice and hospital settings within cardiology, vascular surgery, orthopedics, and post‑acute specialties. Navigates high‑acuity cases under a formal collaborative practice agreement with a supervising physician.

Responsibilities
  • Manages patient health within specialty services such as Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, and Post‑Acute across hospital, skilled‑nursing, and clinic settings.
  • Maintains specialty‑specific clinical knowledge, hospital protocols, regulatory requirements, and communication skills to support patient education under the general medical direction of the collaborating physician.
  • Develops and implements treatment plans for acute conditions, including illnesses and injuries, under the general medical direction of the collaborating physician.
  • Responsible for hospital patient rounding and on‑call duties for inpatient services, ambulatory follow‑up, and medical management.
  • Participates in professional development activities.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness to meet the safety‑sensitive requirements of this position.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education
    :
    Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • Experience
    : 2 years in a related clinical setting
  • Licenses & Certifications
    :
    Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse (RN)
Preferred Requirements
  • Education
    :
    Doctorate in Nursing
  • Experience
    : 2–5 years in a related clinical setting
