SummaryThe Ash Group is hiring a Network Engineer for our client, a world-renowned telecommunications company providing the technology and equipment that enables global mobile connectivity and 4G/5G networks. This is a 12-18 month contract working in Bellevue, WA (Onsite) offering a pay rate of $66 per hour based on skillset.

Up to $66/hr W2 - Benefits:

- Location:
Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
- Perform integration, certification, and implementation of 4G LTE/5G technology into customers' lab facilities and first market application(s).
- Demonstration of new functionality, and SW/HW capabilities.
- Perform proof of concept with customers for pre-commercial products and next generation Radio access technology equipment.
- Support NPI project, involving integration, configuration, features and functionalities, troubleshooting, inconsistencies, and testing on the roadmap portfolio for BBU (baseband units), and Radios on different technologies/bands operation.
- Resolve technical issues and serve as point of contact towards the Customer Project Manager (CPM), customer, and the EU throughout the project.
- Participate in lab testing, working closely with the delivery manager and customer to define the scope of work, resource plan and timeline.
- Must have 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Strong UE (User Equipment) knowledge with tools such as QXDM/QCAT, XCAP, Locktool, XCAL, Wireshark is required
- Experience with NSA (LTE) and SA (5G) architectures is must
- Solid understanding of RF and RAN is a must
- Must have knowledge of Layer 1/2/3 logs, including trace collection and analysis
- Familiarity with EPS fallback is required
- Must have an understanding of 3
GPP standards and features - Experience testing hardware and/or software features
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience
