Job Summary
The Interior Finish Technician removes and installs wall vinyl, paint, casework finish, and wall hangings for wall finishing projects in a safe and professional manner. The technician is knowledgeable in paint, paste, casework finish, wall finish product applications, and small wall patching repair.
The role may require assisting other Construction Services trades to complete construction projects. The technician must have good interpersonal and communication skills, be able to differentiate colors precisely, and correctly use various machines and equipment such as paint sprayers, vinyl machines, and basic tools. The position requires work on high equipment such as lifts and ladders and requires flexibility with indoor and outdoor working conditions.
Safety rules must be followed and a safe, clean environment maintained. The technician must comply with the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA). Travel may be required (approximately 10%).
- Trade school, vocational school, or apprenticeship in an interior finish related field preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in commercial wall finish and repair preferred.
- May require a valid driver’s license; if required, must maintain a good driving record.
