Structural BIM/CADD Specialist

In this pivotal role as a Structural BIM/CADD Specialist, you will collaborate with teams focused on commercial, healthcare, education, and retail projects to turn innovative concepts into tangible outcomes. Utilizing Revit building information software, you will create detailed three-dimensional drawings under the guidance of a senior engineer or designer. Your contributions will enhance design quality and ensure that we deliver optimal results for our clients.

The expected salary range for this role is $25 to $30 hourly.

• Associate degree or higher in computer technology, drafting and design, integrated arts, animation and modeling, or related fields.
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Critical analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in modeling structural systems using Revit BIM software with support from engineers or structural designers.

• Create and modify drawings following office standards and basic design criteria set by engineers while under their supervision.
• Assist in generating construction documents using Revit building information software.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, providing training and guidance to junior drafters.
• Coordinate document production with various departments.
• Develop CADD documents based on 'Red Lines' provided by supervisors or senior team members.
• Prepare detailed construction documents like plans, sections, elevations, and schedules as directed.
• Conduct site surveys to capture existing structural systems for documentation purposes.
• Help in creating system or building layouts and ensure coordination with other departments is effective.
• Review shop drawings during the construction administration phase for engineer approval.
• Oversee production plotting efforts, coordinating with team members and other disciplines.
• Keep team members informed about changes that may impact their drawings.
