Building Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, fitness center, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors.

• Maintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition.
• Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry.
• Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces to support efficient operations.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections.
• Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations.

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs is preferred
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

$23 - $24 hourly
