Alloy Engineering is seeking a Master MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator with 10+ years of experience to join our 100% employee‑owned team. This isn't just a production job; it’s a role for a skilled artisan who takes pride in high‑stakes craftsmanship and complex industrial builds.
Key Responsibilities- Precision Welding:
Perform expert-level MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on high‑stakes materials. - Custom Fabrication:
Execute full‑cycle metal fabrication, including layout, fit‑up, and assembly of complex industrial equipment. - Technical Mastery:
Read and interpret advanced blueprints, engineering drawings, and complex weld symbols with 100% accuracy. - Quality Standards:
Ensure all work meets rigorous ASME and AWS quality standards. - Versatility:
Expertly weld in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
- 10+ years of proven experience as a MIG/TIG welder in a heavy fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Demonstrated mastery welding stainless steel and nickel alloys – experience a plus.
- Expert in using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
- Must provide basic welding tools (hood, hand tools, measuring tools).
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed.
- Some work performed inside, underneath, or on top of fabrications.
- 10‑hour shifts / 55 hours a week in a non‑air‑conditioned manufacturing facility.
- Steel‑toe boots and safety glasses required.
- Must have personal welding hood and basic hand tools.
- $2/hr 2nd shift differential.
- Sign‑on bonus up to $5,000.
