- Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and/or TIG welding according to established processes and specifications - Assemble and weld components using defined parameters and work instructions
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and job documentation
- Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with quality and cosmetic standards
- Complete job tracking paperwork and labor time reporting accurately
- Perform secondary operations such as deburring, metal finishing, and feature additions
- Address minor fitment or dimensional issues while maintaining quality requirements
- Meet or exceed established production and efficiency targets
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 6S standards
- Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment based on training and experience
- Support training and development of other welders to internal standards
- Follow all safety guidelines, work procedures, and standard practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or area coordinator
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of a vocational or certified welding program required
- Demonstrated experience with MIG and/or TIG welding (certification preferred)
- Ability to weld complex parts with limited tooling or fixturing
- Strong attention to detail and visual quality of welds
- Ability to work independently and follow prioritized instructions
- Comfortable working in a production manufacturing environment
