Experienced Welder / Fabricator

Location: Berea, OH
Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

• 2nd Shift $2.00 shift differential
• Overtime available weekly
• Mandatory Saturdays (2x per month, sign-up at the start of each month)

Hire Sync is seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators to join a highly respected manufacturing environment in Berea, OH known for its precision work, advanced metal fabrication, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders looking to work on complex projects involving stainless steel, nickel alloys, and specialty metals.

The Welder/Fabricator will perform advanced welding and fabrication on a variety of metals while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, precision, and the ability to execute fit-ups and welding tasks independently.

• Perform MIG, TIG, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding on stainless steel, nickel alloy, and other metals
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Execute fit-ups and fabrication to project specifications
• Weld in multiple positions including vertical, horizontal, and overhead
• Maintain quality standards that meet or exceed ASME and AWS requirements
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Operate independently with strong judgment and attention to detail
• Complete projects within established production timelines

• Minimum of 3 years of MIG and TIG weld fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Ability to convert fractions into decimals
• At least one certification in GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW welding techniques preferred
• Strong knowledge of functional welding principles
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience working with precision fabrication and complex materials
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 lbs as needed
• Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required
