Senior Information Technology Chief of Staff

Position Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to synthesize issues, surface options, and recommend decision‑grade actions
  • Operate with discretion on sensitive matters
  • Provide oversight of actions related to operations, risk, and portfolio/financial management; ensure consistent follow‑through
  • Coordinate across the executive director’s leadership team to build alignment, remove blockers, and track commitments to closure
  • Manage the executive director’s cadence (meetings, prep, readouts) and triage incoming requests to protect executive time
  • Maintain dashboards and executive metrics (Objectives and Key Results/Key Performance Indicators) to ensure alignment to strategic priorities and enable fact‑based course corrections
  • Translate complex data into concise, actionable narratives and recommendations for senior leaders
  • Act as a strategic partner: anticipate needs, identify opportunities to scale or simplify work, and ensure initiatives align to the Information Digital Technology & Security vision and roadmap
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the organization, ensuring effective communication and alignment on strategic priorities
  • Support development and vetting of multi‑year business cases and priority setting for strategic initiatives
  • Monitor budget‑to‑actuals and recommend course corrections
  • Coordinate workforce and resourcing requests through intake, prioritization, and approval (Leadership Team, Human Resources, Finance) – ensuring healthy backlog management for the organization
  • Prepare executive director’s communications including memos, talking points, and presentations. Develop visual representations of concepts and ideas appropriate for the audience
Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in an Information Technology, Digital, or Engineering environment
  • 5+ years of experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions and/or programs
  • 5+ years of experience managing metrics to drive data‑driven solutions/decisions
  • 5+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
  • Experience in project or program management
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail and strong bias for action, with ability to execute under ambiguity and tight timelines
  • Experience in security, governance, risk, and compliance
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management
  • Experience managing global teams
  • Expertise in M365 products, communication, and collaboration
  • Experience working in complex environments and matrix organizations
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Experience as an executive‑level chief of staff or Office of CIO
  • Experience in change management and organizational development
Pay & Benefits

Summary pay range: $133,450 – $193,200. Boeing offers a Total Rewards package that includes competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees are able to enroll in a variety of benefits programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. Specific programs may vary by location, date of hire, and collective bargaining agreements.
