Position: F-15 First Line Manufacturing Manager

Position Overview

F-15 First Line Manufacturing Manager – Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) – Berkeley, MO. This role manages, develops, and motivates high‑performing teams on the production line.

Responsibilities
  • Manage employees performing activities across multiple manufacturing disciplines.
  • Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures; develop organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large-scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of Boeing’s internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft.
  • Ability to work any shift.
  • Must satisfy the company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace; applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal or informal leadership role.
  • Previous knowledge/experience with LEAN.
  • Experience with military aircraft maintenance.
  • Experience with flight ramp operations.
  • Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees.
  • Experience managing a Collective Bargaining Unit (CBU) or hourly union‑represented workforce.
Shift & Schedule

This role is primarily second shift; additional shift requirements may be needed to support program objectives.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $111,350 – $150,650, based on experience and qualifications. Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Additional Information

Relocation is available at the candidate’s eligibility. This position requires U.S. export control compliance; a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. The position is not Safety Sensitive and does not require a Security Clearance. Visa sponsorship is not available.
