Position
Government & Capital Property Manager (K-Level) – Supply Chain, Compliance & Process Optimization, Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS).
Responsibilities- Manages employees who develop, coordinate, and implement property management and control activities.
- Develops and executes project and process plans; implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Communicates with internal and external auditors directly.
- Works collaboratively with Materials Management/Property Management site senior leaders.
- Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of teams, and leads process improvements.
- Works with government property administrators (DCMA, DCAA, NASA, etc.) to address issues timely and escalates when required.
- Develops, coaches, mentors and motivates employees.
- Promotes and demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors.
- 5+ years of experience applying audit standards, procedures, and techniques.
- 5+ years of experience managing Government or Capital Property.
- 5+ years of experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance.
- 3+ years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes.
- 3+ years of leading project teams to meet objectives and deliverables.
- 3+ years creating project schedules with key milestones.
- 3+ years using LEAN manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools.
- 3+ years with DCMA and Department of Defense contracts.
- 3+ years engaging with global customers, suppliers, and partners.
- At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project or formal manager) or completion of Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
- Effective communication, organizational, and team‑oriented skills.
- Experience with GOLD Property Management Systems and/or equivalent supply chain ordering systems.
This position can be based in Berkeley, MO;
Ridley Park, PA; or Tukwila, WA, with optional telecommuting. Some onsite work may be required at one of the listed locations.
