Position Summary
Boeing Global Services (BGS) wants you to join Boeing as a Multi‑Skill Manager for our Government Training Engineering team of Fighter/Attack Aircrew Training Subject Matter Experts. This is a unique opportunity to work with and lead a team of seasoned fighter pilots/WSOs and become a key player in developing cutting‑edge training solutions that directly impact the readiness and success of our nation’s most advanced aircrew.
You and your team will design and deliver innovative, immersive learning experiences tailored specifically for high‑performance fighter aircraft, including iconic platforms like the F‑22, F‑15, and F/A‑18 and the next generation of aircraft.
Position Responsibilities- Manages a team of aircrew subject matter experts to develop, test, maintain and improve simulator training devices
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures
- Provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Provides periodic updates to senior management in the form of progress reports, project summaries, and other related documents
- Must foster an innovative work environment leading to identification of opportunities for improvements in product, process, quality, and productivity
- Implement and support Boeing initiatives, programs, and policies to maintain training excellence and compliance
- Adhere to site security and access control procedures in accordance with Boeing and customer requirements
- Collaborate closely with Boeing training teams and customer representatives at dedicated training sites to meet training and continuation training objectives
- Maintain appropriate security clearances as required by Boeing and customer programs
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple functional areas and diverse personnel
- Flexibility to perform additional duties and related responsibilities as assigned to support Boeing’s training mission
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time both domestically and internationally
- 3+ years of experience on military fighter platforms (F‑16, F‑18, F‑22, F‑5, F‑14, or F‑15)
- 5 years’ experience as an F‑15C/E Pilot and or Weapon Systems Officer and or fighter/tactical aircraft (F‑16, F‑22, F‑18)
- Experience working with the planning & scheduling processes, cost analysis, and EVMS
- Active Security Clearance (Active means held within the previous 24 months)
- Experience training and/or mentoring in a technical environment
- Proven ability to lead the design and delivery of complex aircrew training solutions and courseware development

Benefits & CompensationSummary pay range: $141,100 – $190,900.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
