Eversource supports work‑life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office—Tuesday and Wednesday are fixed, the third day is set by employee and supervisor based on department needs. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example, emergencies, training, or other business needs).

Provide financial support to the Operations organization; coordinate and support the Monthly Financial Reports; develop the departmental financial budgets and five‑year forecasts; regulatory plans; project analysis; and develop tools.

• Supports the production of the Monthly Financial Report for the Operations group.
• Coordinates, develops, supports, and monitors the annual budget process to ensure each major budget management task is properly planned and supported and complies with corporate critical‑path schedules.
• Reviews, validates, and adopts financial model runs.
• Communicates results and implications to management.
• Assists management in ensuring model projections support financial goals and recommends ways to improve performance.
• Communicates results of financial strategies and provides recommendations for course corrections.
• Coordinates and develops financial projections with input from Shared Services and other disciplines, including forecasts, regulatory, corporate, and field functional areas.
• Prepares financial projections for presentation to executive management.
• Provides information to management to keep annual budgets and five‑year forecasts on target.
• Communicates monthly reports to departmental management on budget versus actual and current versus prior year comparisons to aid decision‑making.
• Coordinates with all departmental areas on financial and business report requirements.
• Works effectively with all levels of management to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Supports the development of rate‑case timelines and strategies as well as rate‑case proceedings.

• Knowledge and experience with capital and expense budgeting processes.
• Knowledge and experience developing and implementing corporate strategies and initiatives.
• Strong knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability in all areas of financial reporting, analysis, and financial model management.
• Understanding of financial statements and financial modeling.
• Thorough understanding of the Eversource organization.

• Financial acumen including a basic understanding of financial concepts.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline required.
• Active work toward or completion of a related advanced degree preferred.

• Three (3) plus years of related accounting experience.

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. Annual salary range: $87,900.00–$97,670.00.
