This position is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of organization‑wide network hardware and software. The ideal candidate should be capable of working collaboratively between teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills Required- 5+ years of experience in VMware administration
- 5+ years of experience in networking systems administration
- Experience with VMware products such as vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, VCF, Log Insight
- Experience with administration of physical and virtual servers
- Experience with operating systems including Microsoft, Red Hat, and Linux appliances
- Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems
- Experience with systems optimization, patch management, and lifecycle planning
- Experience with project management and meeting timeline deliverables
- Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS administration
- Experience with data backup and recovery
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to collaborate with peers, across teams, and stakeholders
- Responds promptly to technical, system, and/or emergency issues when contacted outside of scheduled work hours, remotely or in person as needed
- Perform related work as required
