Gas Fuser​/Pipe Fitter, Rochester

Team Fishel, a leading utility construction employer, is hiring a Gas Fuser / Pipe Fitter to support projects at our Rochester, PA facility and throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. The role involves installing steel or plastic gas piping of all sizes using a variety of methods.

• Install new gas mains and services using tools related to poly pipe fusion, black iron, and HVAC work.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment by poly fusion, mechanical joining, threading, and flanges.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Layout pipe, supports, and related equipment following blueprints.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment using hand and power tools.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Valid CDL driver’s license is a plus but not required.
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing).
• Occasional extended travel required (per diem paid for all out‑of‑town projects).
