Senior Security Officer

Overview

Responsible for overseeing the safety and security of all customers, Security Officers, and their assets on shift. The Senior Security Officer may perform other duties as assigned and report to the Security Shift Manager/Senior Security Manager.

• Taking a rover position to provide escorts and various other casino functions requiring security.
• Monitoring officers on their appearance and performance of duties.
• Investigating customer complaints and/or problems.
• Assign officers for proper coverage of all security posts.
• Responsible for securing company funds when performing duties regulated by the gaming commission.
• To evaluate applications and conduct interviews with candidates.
• Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent with two years background in security, law enforcement and/or criminal justice with on-the-job training.
• Some training in OSHA regulations.
• Hold certificates in CPR and first aid.
• Must hold a valid gaming license.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• The ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.

• Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
