Position Title: Marketing Communications Associate
Reports To: Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications
Location: Required to work onsite from Royal Cup facility in Birmingham, AL. This is not a remote work position.

OverviewThe Marketing Communications Associate reports to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications and assists Royal Cup’s marketing communications (MARCOM) strategy. This role will have direct responsibility for content planning, editorial calendar development and execution, and project management.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.
Key Responsibilities- Manage social media content and editorial calendar for all channels and platforms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across Royal Cup on content development and production.
- Manage video content and calendars.
- Photography project management.
- Manage marketing campaign content development.
- Work as project manager for multiple trade shows and sponsor ships.
- Manage trade show budget and calendars.
- Manage plan and execution at the event: product, equipment, and collateral.
- Manage online product catalogs, and ensure listing accuracy, and current images.
- Execute changes and source relevant assets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team to keep data updated and accurate.
- Support communication plan development that achieves ROI goals.
- Understand Royal Cup’s brand voice and customer insights to tell our story.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or another related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing Communications.
- Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, and accountable.
- Strong verbal & written communication and editing proofreading skills.
- Content creator and producer of digital content.
- Proficient in relevant B2B social media tools and platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment, with rapidly changing priorities.
- Strong sense of urgency and a self-starter.
- Expert (or ability to become one) MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Positive Attitude.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and CRM.
- Ability to travel up to 30% as required based on business needs, often requiring overnight stay to attend meetings, trade shows, training, and other work-related events as scheduled.
- Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.
- Experience in the food service industry and B2B marketing.
- Coffee or Tea experience a plus.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, typing, reading, talking, and hearing.
- The ability to lift up to 15 pounds with or without assistance.
