What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
Support emergency and utility service continuity responses by communicating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during outages, hazards, or other site-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
