Giffels Webster has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Oakland County office in Birmingham, Michigan. The role involves working on high-profile land development projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life in southeast Michigan, collaborating with a project team led by a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager.

• Site plan layout
• Geometrics
• Grading
• Pavement design
• Soil erosion and sediment control
• Utility (storm sanitary and water) design
• Stormwater management and green infrastructure design
• Traffic plans
• Details
• Record drawings and specifications
• Prepare permit applications and cost estimates
• Attend meetings
• Conduct field visits
• Perform construction administration tasks

• You have an engineering degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent amount of applicable experience.
• At least 5 years of Civil Engineering experience
• Must have experience in AutoCAD software
• Exposure to Municipal and/or Private Development projects

• PE licensure in Michigan (or seeking to obtain)
• Experience in Civil3D
• Experience with water and sanitary design
• Experience in Water
  
  CAD or Water Gems
• Experience working with MDOT Local Agency Programs
