Are you an experienced technical manager within the food industry?

Do you have a background in leading the technical agenda for a fast‑paced food manufacturing site?

Are you experienced in managing all technical aspects to ensure legal compliance and retail customer legislation?

Mac Gregor Black is partnering with a food manufacturing business on the search for a Technical Manager. This is a perm role based in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for product quality, safety, integrity and legality.
• Accountable for the technical and quality assurance function of the site meeting company, legislative, customer and 3rd party accreditation standards.
• Ensuring that the Technical Team is trained and fit for purpose.
• Ensuring that the company’s quality systems are fully compliant with current standards and customer requirements.
• Maintenance and Leadership of the HACCP and TACCP Plan.

What We’re Looking For:

• BSc in Food Science, Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in a technical management role within a fast‑paced food industry for 5+ years.
• H&S and accident investigation training
• Relevant food manufacturing experience Technical or similar role (minimum 7 years).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Salary – DOE + package.
